County Road Seafood, LLC., is voluntarily recalling County Road Seafood Crab Cake 2 Pack 4 Ounce package because this product contains undeclared egg. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products. This product is vacuum-sealed in clear plastic, sold to distributor and retail facilities in North Carolina and South Carolina.
On 5/15/24 the firm was notified by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services that the product does not list eggs on the label. The product contains mayonnaise which is made from eggs and utilizes whole eggs as a binder.
The product was distributed between August 26, 2022 – May 9, 2024. There are no UPC or lot codes for this product.
