Slade Gorton & Co. Inc. is recalling lot 3896 of Wellsley Farms Farm-Raised Atlantic Salmon due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The product was sold at BJ's Wholesale Club stores in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia from January 31 to February 7.AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- Wellsley Farms Farm-Raised Atlantic Salmon
- Packaged in 2-pound bags featuring the Wellsley Farms logo.
- The UPC code is 888670025963
- The lot number is 3896.
- These details are located on the back of the bag, beneath the cooking instructions and Nutrition Facts panel.
The contamination was identified through a random sample collected by the Food and Drug Administration.
