I had the clam chowder with the clam shells on top, still in tact. I started getting ill in the middle of the night. I was so sick I had to go to the emergency room and be hooked up,to an IV, take antibiotics and anti nausea meds. They did tests and confirmed food poisoning.

I picked up 12 dozen oysters from Hog Island Oyster company on Dec 30 for a NYE celebration and 3 of our party came down with a 24 hr sickness. Nausea, muscle soreness, fatigue and fever.
