Food Safety Report - Arby's, Kirksville Missouri

6 years ago reported by user-kttq2775 business

Arby's, North Baltimore Street, Kirksville, MO, USA

2607 North Baltimore Street, Kirksville, 63501 Missouri, United States

On the evening of Wednesday October 3rd I had an Arbys classic gyro and a chocolate shake. I had eaten one of the Gyros the previous week and thought it was delicious and wanted another one. About an hour later I began to feel very nauseous and two hours later I was vomiting. I continue to have aggressive vomiting throughout the evening and was also sweating profusely. Didnt think to take my temperature to the next day and it was 99.8 (oral) at that time. Today Friday approximately 36 hours after the incident I feel mostly normal with only a touch of lingering weakness. I am 51 years old and in excellent health and neither I nor my family can remember the last time i vomited it has been many many years. I have a question that people have had contact with the last 2 or 3 days and nobody else has had any symptoms. I have never made an accusation of (the possibility of) food poisoning in my past. Because I work in public health I take this kind of accusation very seriously and would not make it if I had not made a reasonabe attempt to rule out otherpossible causes. For the record I am not saying that I was poisoned by the food that I ate from Arbys I am only saying that circumstances strongly suggested this and that such circumstances should warrant further investigation. | Symptoms: Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Weakness, Sweating
