Severe Reaction After Wings - Buffalo Wild Wings,
10 years ago •reported by user-vfdnp748
Had an order of Nachos (No chicken) with Sour Cream on the side as an appetizer. Main course was a Snack Size (5 or 6 Wings), with Celery and Blue Cheese Dressing and 2 Cokes on during the meal. Was with only one other patron. Began eating at about 5:30pm or so. Was home by 7:30pm. Worst sickness I've ever had in my lifetime. At 7:32 pm I suddenly, and I mean suddenly became so VIOLENTLY sick I had to run to the bathroom. I had such intense cramping and pain, followed by SEVERE DIARRHEA for about 9 or 10 hours. After about 20 minutes of Diarrhea I began to get the chills and then the VOMITTING began. If I tell you I must have vomitted over 50 times you probably would not believe me but it is true. I vomited up every last particle of food, EXPLOSIVELY. The Diarrhea was so pan that I was UNABLE TO GET OFF FLOOR. I contemplated calling for an Ambulance but I was thinking that I may just shit all over everyone in it. I stayed on the floor of the bathroom for more than 2 HOURS! Then the CHILLS SET IN. My daughter told me that I was shaking so badly that she could just barely make out what I was saying (which was...just breath slow...slow down...etc).
The next day I was unable to move from the bed and at 5 am I drove myself to the WATERBURY HOSPITAL where I was hospitalized for 2 DAYS with Coliatis (swelling of the Colon, Blood in Stool, and Severe Dehydration.
I called BWW and they generously offered to 'make it right with me' (after telling me how much care they take preparing their food).
One side note: I had been in there on at least two other occasions when food came to our table uncooked and it was taken away, a new meal was prepared, and we were not charged for the original uncooked meal nor its replacement.
I can never bring myself to go back into this restaurant. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Dehydration, Cramps, Chills, Shaking, Swelling, Bloody Stool
