Veggie Sub Illness Strikes - Casey's General Store, Sioux City Iowa

3 years ago reported by user-vgprv593 business

Casey's, Stone Avenue, Sioux City, IA, USA

4301 Stone Avenue, Sioux City, 51106 Iowa, United States

On June 4, I went to go get a turkey sub because I am a vegetarian and they didn’t have any other options for whole food.
I took the meat off obviously, and I ate the sandwich. I felt OK until late that night. I have thrown up multiple times, have had diarrhea, nonstop nausea, etc. I contemplated going to the hospital because it was so bad. I’m still feeling like this, but it has improved because I have been taking Zofran as prescribed by my doctor.
I called and reported the incident, and I heard somebody in the back say “another one?” Which is disappointing. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
