Chili's Grill & Bar, East Hospitality Lane, San Bernardino, CA, United States

475 East Hospitality Lane, San Bernardino, 92408 California, United States

On Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, I went with my sister to her doctor's appointment at the VA hospital in Loma Linda. She wanted to check out a furniture store in San Bernadino near the Sam's Club. After locating the store and checking on the item, she decided she wanted to eat lunch; it's around noon or a little after the hour. Although Chili's wasn't our first choice, we ended up at Chili's. I ordered the boneless chicken and a Caesar salad, and I was told they no longer carry the Caesar salad, so I ordered the House salad, and a strawberry lemonade drink. My friend order the fajita plate. When I got my order I offered my friend a piece of my chicken and she took a piece and stated this looks like it has been sitting and they warmed it over. I thought that something wasn't quite right with the chicken; not I have gotten in the past but my thoughts were, "at least it is cooked thoroughly." The chicken wasn't that great so I didn't eat it all nor did I eat all the salad. It just didn't set right with me, the quality of the food but I thought, "don't cause the nice waitress any distress, because I really wasn't that hungry and really didn't want to eat out anyways." So, I left the uneaten portions on the table. After returning home I mentioned to my husband the ordeal and told him the food still had not settled well in my stomach. Never thinking I would get sick from food served from Chili's, as this has always been one of my favorite places to eat out at. As the evening progressed, my stomach still seemed to be trying to process the food I had consumed. I didn't want to eat any more foods until my stomach settled, so I didn't eat any dinner or other foods. I drank a Canada Dry Ginger Ale, at room temperature, in hopes it would help my stomach to settle. Around 4:50 am Saturday morning, Aug. 20th, I could no longer contain the feeling of nausea, as now I was also feeling the urge to go potty as well. I went to use the commode and had to hold my bathroom trash basket in front of me. As my stomach begin to flip and flop and gurgle and whatever else it was doing, I begin to get light headed and called for my husband as I felt very faint. I felt as if I was going to pass out and possible not awaken. He came in to the bathroom to assist me. I had went down to the floor because I could not maintain my balance on the commode. I am not sure if I lost conscientious for a moment or not, I just remember him shaking me and asking if I was okay, at which time I commenced to vomiting in the trash basket and then asked him to help me back onto the commode which I was having some horrible stomach and back pains and all at once it stool starting flowing. It was spurring from both ends! I felt the worse I had felt in ages! Once things settle down, I returned to my bed, I awoke the next morning feeling horrible, of course. I had a horrible headache and a sour stomach with slight nausea. The headaches and nausea lasted two days and I am still experiencing light nausea in the AM to date; 8/23/16.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Shaking
