Burrito Illness: Headache, Diarrhea - Chipotle Mexican Grill, Plano Texas

I ordered a burrito with chicken and steak, rice, hot salsa, corn, cheese and double side of veggies on 02/27/22 and 02/28/22. I started not feeling well the next day 03/01/22 at night when I lost my appetite and my stomach felt weird. I decided to try and get to bed and I came down with a bad headache during the night. By the next evening I felt much worse. Still no diarrhea at this point. My best friend started feeling sick that morning of 03/02/22 with diarrhea and she ate the same location with me for the 3 days leading up to our illness. We went to the doctor on 03/02/22 with nausea and bad headache and body aches and they said I had a 101 fever. They gave me some Tylenol and zofran(anti nausea). That night I went home and tried to eat and I woke in the early morning and started vomiting with very bad diarrhea. I did not vomit after that one time thanks to the zofran but I had nausea and uncontrollable liquid diarrhea until late Thursday night when I decided to get an IV of fluids. It helped until Friday evening when I tried to eat again and it didn’t go away until Sunday. I ate maybe 1000 calories from Tuesday until Saturday. It was terrible. The longest and worst stomach bug I’ve ever had. We pretty much eat(ate) this food every day. We have not gone back since for fear that it is what made me sick. We went to the Park boulevard and Plano pkwy location on Sunday and the Plano Legacy location on Monday night. We went to the Plano legacy location on Tuesday night as well but I didn’t really eat much since I was already starting to feel bad. My friend had a burrito that night. She had diarrhea starting the next morning. Mine came a day later than hers. We were miserable together. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Headache, Body Ache
