Seafood Quality Concerns at Costco - Costco, Colorado Springs Colorado

4 months ago reported by user-fdndf842 business

Costco Wholesale, North Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO, USA

5050 North Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, 80918 Colorado, United States

Bought pack of Sea Bass with the best date (5 days to the sell by). At home, noticed fish was slimy and did not smell fresh; it did not smell bad either. Hesitant, but I cooked it and we ate it. Did not enjoy, I don't think it was bad, but not fresh. Both of us had diarrhea later.

We noticed that the tuna and salmon at the store looked aweful - like really bad - mushy and discolored. I cannot believe they were selling this. Does Costco in Colorado Springs not train their people on proper handling of seafood?

In Texas, Costco was a go to for halibut and salmon. Not here, unlikely I will ever by seafood from them again . | Symptoms: Diarrhea
