Scallops Cause Severe Illness - Crosby's Dock, Charleston South Carolina

4 years ago reported by user-pfwd8343 business

Crosby's Dock, 2223 Folly Road, Charleston, SC, USA

2223 Folly Road, Charleston, 29412 South Carolina, United States

Bought raw seafood there Saturday evening. Immediately put a bag of ice on top of it in a good cooler. Drove 45 minutes to rental, cooler inside truck. Put seafood cold full size fridge, bottom shelf. Sunday drove home 4 hours, ice on top of seafood in cooler, inside truck. Immediately put in fridge. Cooked the scallops next afternoon, on grill. Only thing I had to eat. Wife recalls them having a “fishy” smell (oops). 9 hrs later Monday night had very, very severe diarrhea and vomiting, very severe. All night, 9 times every 30-45 minutes. Worst I’ve had and first in decades.
Not good. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting
