I picked up takeout that consisted of a BBQ Tri-tip sandwich, Cobb salad with lettuce, blue cheese crumbles, red peppers, bacon, tomatoes and Tri-tip Ends. Sides of BBQ sauce, Ranch dressing & House Vinaigrette dressing. I picked it up at 6:25PM on 9-22-24 and I drove 8 1/2 miles home and promptly refrigerated the food. We ate around 8PM. I warmed up 1/2 of the Tri tip sandwich in the oven and my husband is the only one who ate it. We shared some of the salad and both of us had the Ranch dressing but he also had some of the House Vinaigrette. At around 2:40AM (a little over 6 hours after consuming) he began to have diarrhea, vomiting and sweating profusely. Today he is still nauseous with some vomiting and stomach pains.I emailed Dog House Grill Management on 9-23-24 and notified them of my suspected food poisoning. I received a response on 9-24-24 at 2:36AM. The email did not give the manager’s name but in it I was told that there were no other reports of sickness but that they would dig into this and check every ingredient mentioned in my email. Also, that I would be fully refunded and would get back to me immediately. I have received no refund and no further correspondence from Dog House Grill. The poor response that I have received ensures that they do not deserve a second chance at my business nor any of their other locations on the Central Coast. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Sweating, Stomach Pain
