Donatello Incident Celebrating last day of my fiancée Chemo 11/18/2022 (Friday)

NOVEMBER 19 2022 (Saturday)
⁃ Dinner at Donatello It was myself my fiancée and her daughter. I ordered the baby fried calamari for my appetizer I was the only one at our table that liked calamari. And my entree Pollo Donatello. When the calamari was served it was 3 large calamari rings, on the menu it said baby fried calamari. I never had calamari served this way. As I started on the first ring I ate half of it, didn’t like the taste, it smelled fishy and pushed it aside. I let the e waiter know I didn’t like it and asked me if I would like anything else. I wasn’t charged for this. We completed our diners, however started to feel a little ill this is where it all began. I was a healthy man do not drink or smoke and have my annual check ups. Below is the series of events that happened after our dinner.
⁃ He vomited outside the restaurant before leaving Donatello that night. He rushed to go outside .. my daughter and I met him outside front door of Donatello we waited for the valet attendant to bring our car. I drove home.
⁃ When we saw him he told my daughter and I that he just vomited.
⁃ He felt sick rest of the night .

NOVEMBER 20 Sunday
⁃ He continues to get worse and felt very sick, diarrhea, vomiting and was nauseated
⁃ I told him we need to go to the hospital, he told me "tomorrow if im not better we'll go. NOVEMBER 21 (Monday)
⁃ He still refuse to go to hospital.
⁃ I told him I’m worried he will get dehydrated from vomiting and having diarrhea
⁃ He agree to go to an IV bar on Kennedy to hydrate him from lost fluids from vomiting and diarrhea.

⁃ sodium chloride 0.9% Intravenous Hydration 1000ml
⁃ That night vomiting /diarrhea continue (black liquid in color) he had fever chills cold sweats and started to felt weak.
⁃ Monday night was the worse

NOVEMBER 22 (Tuesday)
⁃ I kept pushing to go the hospital, at the his point he only agree to go to an urgent care nearby. I knew UC is closing but I’m glad he is willing to go. My intention was to go to the hospital .
⁃ UC nearby is close so he told me "what now" I told him we are going to the hospital.
⁃ Prior to going to hospital He had difficulty putting his clothes hardly able to stand on his on. I have to help He put his pants on. He started to feel really weak
⁃ Tuesday night went to Tampa General Hospital ER around 845pm
⁃ Symptoms Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever 100+, chills/sweats, weakness
⁃ He was on a wheelchair hooked on IV while waiting at the ER lobby .

⁃ Upon admission inside ER, he was hooked on more IV bags, antibiotics, blood culture collected, and resulted his blood was septic, his in a verge of kidney failure, his potassium level abnormal, and E.coli bacteria in his system and he developed gangrene tissue in his gallbladder from the infection .

NOVEMBER 23 (Wednesday)
⁃ Trauma surgery at 9am
⁃ Surgery had complications
⁃ Heart issues during surgery, (heart Arrhythmia) ,***NO prior history of any heart condition***
⁃ DEFIBRILLATOR used during surgery also INTUBATED after surgery and while admitted to ICU after surgery.
⁃ to Trauma Intensive Care Unit (TICU) after surgery
⁃ DEFIBRILLATOR was used again twice while in TICU to regulate his heart rhythm .

NOVEMBER 24 (Thursday)
⁃ Breathing tube removed @9am
⁃ Five days in TICU 23NOV-27NOV
⁃ Still in TICU Fri 11/25/22, Sat 11/26/22, Sun 11/27/22, Mon NOVEMBER 28 (Monday)
⁃ Move to regular room out of TICU around 4-5pm NOVEMBER 29 (Tuesday)
⁃ Discharge from TGH @5pm. Now I have to be on a special diet also on proton Inhibitors daily. Had to resign from my position as a New Home Project Manager due to not being able to keep up with the physical demands.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Weakness, Chills, Sweating
