Downsview farmers market Visited the doensview market food court and as a restaurant manager for 20 years for a large food chain , I'm very concerned as to how these booths serving food have a pass . No hair nets , no running water outside people serving food , no packed dates or expiry dates, or calorie counts, ingredients labels on packaged goods. Where were these packed items prepared and was that facility inspected? No handwashing station with steps to wash hands. Dirty cloths beside foods. Raw meat packed with no expiry dates . 3 step washing stations . No thermometers in refrigerators. The fruit and veg area clippings of food all over the floor ? As I was there on July 4 the Health inspector was present and I did not see him go in any booth to do a proper inspection or have any type of papers to make reports . Something really fishy going on here! I would like a follow up regarding all my concerns and I will also be reaching out to city councilor and MPP .
