On Sunday, August 25th, 2024 between 7-8PM, my husband and I visited El Maguey Mexican restaurant for our 1st time. The place looked clean and the food tasted fine. My husband had a ground beef burrito, I had Mexican steak well done with rice. Chips and salsa were included, I ate some of them, my husband did not. At about 3AM the next morning, I woke up with sour belching, awful stomach pain and nausea. Spent the next 72 hours sitting on the toilet with diarrhea while vomiting in a trash can, thought I was gonna die. Was sick for 7 days. Then I saw an online news story where their latest health inspection score was a 64. Can't believe they were allowed to still be open. The report said enough that I'm not going to be dining out ANYWHERE for a very long time, if ever again. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
