Let me begin with I am pregnant in my 2nd trimester and to date have never vomited though I sometimes get nauseous. My significant other and I woke up feeling fine. I ordered breakfast for us at Sunday morning 1/14 at 10:30am through the “Uber Eats App”, I ordered me sausage, eggs, and pancakes; he had a T-bone steak, eggs, rice, and sausage. The food arrived roughly at 11:30 am. We both began immediately eating. I ate my food and some of his steak.The only foods we BOTH ate in common was the “Steak” and “eggs”. We both left for work. I started feeling nauseous about 5pm. This would be normal since I’m pregnant, but knew something was wrong when I called my significant other and he was feeling sick as well, around the exact same time. I shrugged it off as I was getting off soon. At approximately 6:53pm I was so sick nauseous, headache, slight fever, and dizzy I sent my boss a text message requesting to leave early because I really nauseous and really needed to lay down. 10 minutes after that text I began violently vomiting up brown liquid stuff. Since I was at my desk I grabbed an Xsport bag. I was so dizzy I sat on the floor and vomited in the bag over and over again, while urinating in myself during the process. My vomit filled up approximately half of an Xsport bag. I called my significant other to get me because I knew driving myself home would be impossible. He to was very sick but had diarrhea and the description of his stool and my vomit was similar. We both knew instantly it had to be from what we ate. I hadn’t ate anything but “ginger ale” when I started to feel sick since that meal. He did eat a small kale salad (with onion, and bell peppers) since but was sick before the kale salad. When I made it home I vomited 2 more times and have been extremely sick since, I am typing this at 6am Monday morning 1/15; and currently still very much sick. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Dizziness
