- comments: observed approximately 25 live fruit flies on the walls and shelving in the clean dish storage area located next to the water heater room in the basement. Instructed management to contact pest control for additional service to eliminate all pest activity from the premises and to clean and sanitize affected areas. Priority foundation 7-38-020(a). Citation issued.
53. Toilet facilities: properly constructed, supplied, & cleaned
- comments: observed no self-closing device on the 1st-floor unisex washroom door. Instructed management that all washroom doors must be completely enclosed and provided with tight fitting and self-closing doors.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed a large hole in the wall underneath the basement hot water dish machine. Observed the ceiling in disrepair (peeling paint, damaged drywall) where the exhaust vent meets the ceiling above the hot water dish machine. Must repair the wall and ceiling and maintain.
