I ordered a lamb shoulder chops from curbside pickup on 5/14/21. The package is vacuum sealed and had an expiration date of 6/2/21. I kept it refrigerated until time of cooking. I cooked it on 5/19/21 and was the only person that consumed it. When raw, it didn’t smell weird, but the color wasn’t as red as beef I’m used it, but it was my first time cooking lamb, so I thought maybe it’s just the way lamb looks, plus it was the “natural” line and promoted less additives. I trusted the expiration date on the packaging. I cooked it well done and it didn’t taste weird, either. 18 hours later I began to experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and a fever of 102°. These symptoms have persisted for over 3.5 days with no improvements. I have since visited the emergency clinic and waiting for lab results. But over 3 days is definitely not a simple stomach bug. This is definitely some serious bacteria or parasite at play. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Other, Fever
