My boyfriend had lamb gyro at a Halal food cart in front of The Westin New York the night of December 29th, 2022. The food cart had typical halal food and steamed chestnut. I also got some chicken skewers yet they were raw in some pieces so I ended up not eating them, even after they tried cooking it more. The big red flag was the cart didn’t have the food grade that should be visible for public and I ignored it. My boyfriend ended up with sharp stomach pain and vomiting the morning after, about 15 hours after having the food. Not only the food was overpriced but we are very upset at how the food cart owner didn’t prepare his food with safety measure and caused my boyfriend to be in pain and with fever the whole day. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Stomach Pain
