- comments: observed no city of chicago certified food service sanitation manager on duty at the start time of inspection at 8:30am while time/temperature control for safefty foods are stored, prepared, cooked, and/or served during operating hours. Manager arrived on site at approximately 9:25am. Instructed that certified food manager must be on site at all times. Priority foundation violation. 7-38-012. Citation issued.
10. Adequate handwashing sinks properly supplied and accessible
- comments: observed handwashing sinks not maintained; improper temperature of hot water at the handwashing sinks in the boy's washroom at 88. 2f and in the girl's washroom at 84. 0f. Instructed that the hot water must be at least 100. 0f at handwshing sinks. Facility owner contacted a plumber. Priority violation. 7-38-030(c). Citation issued.
54. Garbage & refuse properly disposed; facilities maintained
- comments: observed trash/debris in the surrounding area of the outside dumpster. Instructed to clean and maintain.
56. Adequate ventilation & lighting; designated areas used
- comments: observed missing lightbulb cover over lightbulb in the furnace room and 2 lightbulbs out in the infant/toddler classroom. Instructed to provide lightbulb cover and to replace burned out lightbulbs.
