Milk Quality Concerns Persist - Family Dollar, North Dakota

1 week ago reported by user-cnrx3982

Milk, Family Dollar, North Dakota, USA

North Dakota, United States

CloverMilk Brands: Clover Valley, Pride, Cass Clay, and Costco Whole Milk, Over the past five months, I have purchased whole‑milk products from multiple dairy brands, and all of them have exhibited the same serious quality defect: a strange, unpleasant smell and an off‑flavor that is not consistent with normal spoilage. The taste is distinctly different from sour or expired milk — it is a unique, unsavory flavor that makes the product undrinkable. The fact that this issue has appeared across numerous brands suggests that the problem is not isolated to a single producer. Instead, it points to a broader breakdown somewhere in the dairy supply chain, whether in processing, pasteurization, storage, or distribution. This pattern has persisted for approximately six months, which indicates an ongoing systemic issue rather than a temporary or localized batch problem. This situation is extremely concerning for consumers who rely on these brands for safe, consistent dairy products. The widespread nature of the defect raises questions about quality control, contamination risks, and whether proper pasteurization standards are being followed. If this represents a new norm in milk production, it leaves consumers with very few reliable options. I do not want to stop drinking milk, but I cannot continue purchasing products that repeatedly exhibit the same defective smell and flavor. If this issue persists, I will have no choice but to discontinue buying milk altogether. I am requesting that this matter be investigated thoroughly so consumers can have confidence in the safety and quality of the milk being sold..
