Bin-Scraped Salad Illness - Mod Pizza, Lake Oswego Oregon

1 year ago reported by user-vdwp3914 business

MOD Pizza, Meadows Road, Lake Oswego, OR, USA

4811 Meadows Road, Lake Oswego, 97035 Oregon, United States

Incessant vomiting and numbness in hands and feet several hours after eating a salad that was scraped from the bottom of almost empty bins containing spinach, various types of lettuce, chopped cucumbers, various cheeses, chicken, vinegar and oil and a bottled water. The workers changed hands after scraping the bottom of the bin for lettuce and spinach - one worker handed the bowl of leaves to another. The new worker added more spinach, chicken, vinegar and oil, cucumbers, red onions, variety of cheeses. Tried to call the store but ‘manager’ was on break. I had to hang up to vomit again. This is serious food poisoning. Do not eat here until they close and are checked by the city and county. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Numbness

Going forward, handling chicken and lettuce is very risky.
