On March 9th, the Bates Dining Hall at NMMI served undercooked meatloaf that was evidently infected with some sort of food borne pathogen. A few other students noticed this in time and threw their servings away. I was unlucky enough to eat this disgusting excuse for food and came down with nausea, chills, diarrhea and a 104 degree fever. Fortunately, I only puked once, but some other students did so upwards of six times. The infirmary, in an attempt to cover up the incident and placate furious parents made up a bogus story that the symptoms were really from a stomach flu. Neither I nor anyone else bought it for a second. There needs to be a formal investigation opened into the ingredients used in that kitchen. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Chills
