Report date: May 16, 202310. Adequate handwashing sinks properly supplied and accessible
- comments: observed hand sink blocked by large bottle of dish soap and observed another hand washing sink blocked by dish gloves. Instructed manager to keep hand washing sinks free of items at all times to ensure sink is accessible at all times. Manager had staff remove items from sink. Priority foundation violation 7-38-030(c) citation issued.
47. Food & non-food contact surfaces cleanable, properly designed, constructed & used
- comments: observed aluminum on various non food contact surfaces throughout facility including on stove top and on stove walls. Instructed manager to remove foil to allow surfaces to be smooth and easily cleanable. Observed rusted racks inside walk in freezer. Instructed manager to repaint or replace rusted racks.
48. Warewashing facilities: installed, maintained & used; test strips
- comments: observed only 3 drain plugs for all 3 comp sinks (3). Instructed manager to provide an adequate number of drain plugs for (3) 3 compartment sinks
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed damaaged exterior of walk in freezer. On the side of walk in cooler towards the bottom the wall of cooler seems to be deteriorating on outside. Instructed manager to repair.
58. Allergen training as required
- comments: observed certified food manager with expired food allergen certificate. Instructed manager to comply with requirement.
