Spicy Italian Sub Illness - Subway, Milan Michigan

6 years ago reported by user-dfmzd397 business

Subway, Dexter Street, Milan, MI, USA

1156 Dexter Street, Milan, 48160 Michigan, United States

I got a 6 inch spicy Italian sub. It had pepperoni, salami, American cheese, onions, green peppers, and tomatoes on it. No dressing or sauce or anything else. This is my go to sub so I know how it’s supposed to taste as I’ve had it many times before. When I took a few bites, I noticed that the taste was a little off but I thought that maybe it was just me imagining it. I hadn’t had any food for several hours beforehand and didn’t eat anything afterwards. Less than 2 hours after eating my sub, I was experiencing very painful stomach cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea and am still feeling quite nauseous and sick almost 16 hours later. I havent been able to eat and I’m only able to take small sips of water. I’ve never had any problems at this place before but I’m suspecting that perhaps the meat on my sub wasn’t refrigerated properly or was old or left out too long. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps
