Report date: Dec 30, 202410. Adequate handwashing sinks properly supplied and accessible
- comments: observed no hand washing sign available at hand washing sink in front preprepartion area near the hot holding area. Instructed manager to provide signage to instruct employees to wash hands.
36. Thermometers provided & accurate
- comments: observed the walk in cooler to not have thermometer present to measure the internal ambient temperature of the walk in cooler. Instructed manager to provide a thermometer to measure internal ambient temperature of the walk in cooler.
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed a hole greater than 1/4 inch in the wall on left side next to the rear exit door leading to the dumpster area allowing for access for pests from exterior. Instructed manager to address and pest proof rear door.

- comments: observed over 20 mouse droppings on the floor and on the metal shelf along the wall of the rear preparation area below spices racks as well as over 20 mouse droppings behind the white chest cooker and display racks of dried goods at the front area across from the cashier area along the east wall. Must remove all mouse droppings, and clean and sanitize by date of reinspection and maintain. Advised to call pest control operator for service. Priority foundation 7-38-020(a). Citation issued.
39. Contamination prevented during food preparation, storage & display
- comments: observed containers of sauce and boxes of food stored on the floor in the walk in cooler in rear prep area. Instructed manager to elevate all items at least 6 inches off the floor.
49. Non-food/food contact surfaces clean
- comments: observed the exterior of the standing single door glass cooler in front preparation area to be heavily soiled with flour, food debris, and spillage on the door, handle, and sides. Instructed manager to clean and maintain cooler and equipment free of heavy food debris build up.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed hand dryer not functional in mens bathroom. Facility has temporarily placed paper towels in bathroom while they await parts for hand dryer. Instructed manager to service and maintain in good repair.
