Food Safety Report: Trader Ming’s Chicken & Vegetable Wonton Soup - Health Alert due to Allergens.

4 years ago source fsis.usda.gov

United States

The FSIS is issuing a public health alert for frozen chicken and vegetable wonton soup products due to undeclared allergens and misbranding. The product may contain shrimp and pork, both of which are not declared on the product label. The products were distributed to retail locations nationwide.

The products subject to the public health alert are:
- 10.75-oz. containers labeled as “TRADER MING’S CHICKEN & VEGETABLE Wonton Soup” with lot code 31FA322 located on the side of the packaging.

These products were produced by Fortune Avenue Foods, Inc. on November 18, 2021. A recall was not requested because it is believed that the products are no longer available for consumers to purchase.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products.

FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ freezers. If you have an allergy to shrimp and/or pork do not eat them, they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. Please throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.

In case you are experience harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.
