So I give the business a five star rating for their generosity. They had a community Christmas turkey dinner for the 10th year now. And my spouse and I are new to Prince George , do not have family here, and are tight with money at the moment. So we decided we would go to this dinner. We both got food poisoning. I started feeling very sick within the hour. I felt sick to my stomach, my stomach started cramping, needed to go to the bathroom, was puking, I was super tired, had a fever, and had chills. It lasted hours. I still feel sick today (dec 26, 2018) but not as bad as last night. My boyfriend had every symptom I had, but his was much much worse and intense!!!. We thought we might have to call an ambulance because he couldn’t keep ANYTHING down. Was super scary and a miserable experience. We are so grateful they do these dinners for the less fortunate, but not fare to not keep food safe. We had turkey (white and dark meat), mash potatoes, salad (with Italian dressing, and I had one bite and gave the rest to my boyfriend), a mix of veggies, gravy over the potatoes and turkey, and my spouse had a cup of apple juice ( that I had one sip from), and my spouse also had the cranberry sauce (that I did not have). His work called today to ask him if he could come in, he had to say no due to still feeling ill, he also let them know everything that happend and his coworker said his other coworker ate at the same place last night and also got sick. Where my spouse works, there were many people there who ate the same place, we were told many people there also got food poisoning. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Chills, Cramps
