I have coeliac disease and shell fish allergies. One of my kids has coeliac too. Coeliac son had to have a covid test before an orthodontic procedure so we had to wait for 4 hours till his appointment could go ahead. When we were texted the neg result and had time to kill before the appointment, we drove to the restaurant and I ordered through the window with a manager because we both have to eat off the allergy menu. We ordered 2 take away noodle broths off the gluten free with rice noodles. Mine was totally vegetarian, no tofu as I was told this has gluten coating. My son had chicken. All was well until I was driving home from the orthodontist. About 2 hrs after eating the broth. Had to stop the car to be sick. I was sick again when I got home and this morning I am covered in hives. I only get hives when there is cross contamination of gluten or shell fish which raises my IgE and gives me the allergic response with the sickness. Horrible. I have noticed over the years the gf options have reduced so I rarely eat there. I won’t be doing it again. | Symptoms: Vomiting, Other, Skin Rash
