The meal was a dinner prepared at home last night with ahi from the Waimea, HI, farmers' market. The fish was purchased yesterday afternoon and handled carefully, e.g., put ice on within minutes of purchase. Onset of symptoms (pain) was about 2 hours after meal, followed by violent vomiting for the next several hours, then resolution. There was no fever, diarrhea, or hematemesis, but one person had a prominent headache, while another had shaking chills. All three who ate the grilled ahi (rare inside) had similar symptoms, and the one person who did not was not affected. All other items eaten were shared by all four persons.. The fish came from the Saturday farmers’ market in Waimea. The fishmonger only took cash and did not give receipts (he said his portable charge device, aka "Square", wasn't working). If he is at the market in Waimea on the Big Island next Saturday, I will take his picture. | Symptoms: Vomiting, Other, Headache, Chills, Shaking
