Had Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked last night—half a pint. It had a hole in the ice cream and crystals on top. Never knew this could happen until I started googling. Terrible diarrhea and vomiting started about 7 hours after eating it.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

Went there on thanksgiving 2020. The next day I woke up with abnormal and frequent bowel movements while feeling nauseous. I slept throughout the day. At about 5 pm I woke up vomiting. Every time I attempted to take a drink of water or eat something I … See More
vomited about 5 minutes later. I ended up calling 911 at about 1am and rode an ambulance to the er. I received multiple IVs due to dehydration as I was dizzy lightheaded and having muscle spasms. A CT was done and I was told I had an inflamed colon. I was released at 6am with antibiotics. 5 days later and I still get easily nauseous and just feel like absolute crap, still not having normal bowel movements.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Other, Dehydration, Dizziness, Lightheaded, Muscle Spasms

I ate four pounds of crab in a 24 hour period at multiple restaurants. On my way home from the trip (a miserable 5.5 hour car ride), I started having stomach cramps that felt like impending diarrhea which were made worse by the vibration and movement of … See More
the car. I had to stop three times for diarrhea. The third time I stopped, I got an intense wave of nausea that made me nearly throw up in a McDonald's. I had to take Imodium multisymptom, chewable Pepto, and ended up resorting to an anticholinergic called dicyclomine just to be able to finish the car ride home. I ate here and another restaurant.

I honestly am not 100% sure what caused my sickness, but given the amount of crab legs I ate, it made me suspect it was that. The other foods I ate were pretty standard and normal for me. I usually don't exceed two pounds of crab, but I was determined to figure out my limit, haha. It's entirely possible that my body just wouldn't tolerate that amount of crab. Other people in my group are crab both times I did and neither of them got sick (but I did eat roughly twice as much as them).  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps
