Report Type: Food Poisoning
Symptoms: Nausea Vomiting Other Chills
“Arrived Jan 30, 2020 with a group of 11 adults. Second day into trip we spent the day at the side pool. Few of us had a tequila shot and mojito. Simultaneously, 5 of us became very ill. Vomiting, could not stand up, passing out and blacking out. We have... See More no memory of the rest of the day. Only thing I remember is being dragged up the stairs to my hotel room by life guard and other staff member. Thankfully, the members of the group who did not get affected ensured we were cared for. When I woke up, I had hot/cold flashes and vomited bile for the next 10hrs.

Report Type: Food Poisoning
Symptoms: Diarrhea Chills Body Ache
“My husband and I shared a green smoothie on a Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, I had a rumbly stomach and then diarrhea for hours. The next morning, my husband woke up with the same thing, plus crawly skin, achiness and the chills. (This is how food poisoning always affects him.)... See More Neither of us have vomited, but it's Tuesday, and we both still have stomach pain and fatigue. No one else around is or had been ill, and the smoothie is the only thing we had all weekend that was different than everyone else in the family. I'm always cautious about consuming smoothies out, just because there is a risk the produce and the equipment maybe aren't as carefully washed as they are when I make them at home. Our delayed response makes sense to us, since it takes a while for some pathogens to multiply and make themselves known in the body. This was our first time eating (drinking) here and it'll likely be our last, unfortunately.

Report Type: Food Poisoning
Symptoms: Diarrhea Nausea Vomiting Other Cramps Dehydration
“My father and his two friends got food from there. All three got sick (nausea, vomiting, cramps, diahrrea about an hour after eating. The friends got better after a few days, but dad got worse.
Steadily worse.
Over time he was vomiting everything he ate and could only handle fluids.... See More Over the next few weeks he had the following: Increased abdominal pain, diahrrea, vomiting, dehydration, lethargy.
Dad kept getting worse, he thought It might be stomach flu, but I didn't. Dad missed Doctor's appointments (he's on dialysis) on and off, for about a month. He got so sick he missed 2 appointments in a row and hadn't had dialasys for 5 days - which is VERY BAD.
With his dialasis, he sometimes got sick after, but this was different. He was literally screaming in pain and delerious.
They took him away in an ambulance, screaming in agony. He stayed in hospiral 11 days.
Turned out he had an abdominal obstruction and severe inflammation and infection, caused by.....severe food poisoning. They put him on an I.V, had to sedate him, give him strong pain meds, shoved a tube up his nose and into his bowrls. They drained several LITERS of infected fluid from his intestines. They told me that if he'd waited one more day, he'd have died. Died.
This all goes back to the day he went to there. They have always been crappy; missing more thsn one item, wrong change and more than once my hamburger or egg mcmuffin was ice cold and so stale, it seemed like it was in the first stages of rigor mortis. Plus the fries were burned more than once and I'd gotten attitude (from regular staff, not the msnagers) whenever I had to go back and fix the issue (I'd stopped going there way before my dad got sick).
I don't know if any others have suffered food poisoning and/or dysentery at the hands of this particular reasturant, but I wouldn't be surprised.
But, after ALL THIS, nobody I know will even go near that place again!!!

Chicken Strips I ordered a chicken strips combo. I had chipotle dipping sauce, a steeped tea with 2 milks 1 sugar, and a honey cruller donut. I felt nauseous within 30 mins of consumption. I was burping a lot and felt that the chicken wasn't sitting well in my stomach.... See More I ate this at 3:30 or so, it is now almost 8pm and I have been on the toilet 20+ times, I feel extremely nauseous and during the course of writing this I have vomited 3 times.

“My husband and I ate there earlier this month. After dining and took home a whole 30th Anniversary cheesecake when we got home our sons each got a piece and within the 1st few bites one of them was crunching on something hard. It was hard plastic pieces. Our other... See More son as well as myself had also ate some. When I called the Manager about it the next day I was told sorry to say this was not the 1st time this has happened! This left me concerned so I ran the remaining cheesecake through a strainer and found a large piece of plastic sheeting as well! I have photos to share as well of the large plastic piece. I was contacted by the risk Manager and was asked to send the items to her so they could be investigated. I mail part of them to her and still have some as well. I was told the large plastic piece was a plastic collar used to assemble the cheesecake. I have not been given an answer as to what the small hard plastic pieces are. You can see the small plastic pieces in the photo in the blue circle.

“A Daves double burger My grandson left work at 7pm. He was feeling fine all day. I bought him the burger there along with fries and a bottled water. He ate when we got home and around 9pm became nauseous and started throwing up. He could not stop throwing up.... See More I could not believe how many time he threw up. In the middle of throwing up the diarrhea started. I was going to take him to the hospital but things finally settled down around 4am but he still has diarrhea.
When I called the restaurant to speak with the manager about this a young man came on the phone. I told him what happened and he told me he really wasn't sure what to do and that I could speak with the manager on Monday. He asked my last name and there was a long pause. He came back and said he was trying to get on the computer. Then he said he could give us a coupon. I responded that we would not be eating there again and said thank you and good bye. Their employees are obviously not trained properly. The service is poor, there is never a happy or warm welcome, and most of the employees give you the "They do not want to be there attitude." Wake up. This is a very serious situation that might not have had a good outcome. There should always be someone (an adult) that is trained to properly handle a situation like this.
