Inspectors found cleaning and contamination-prevention issues during the inspection. The ice machine had a beige and black mold-like substance on the shield and interior walls, which could contaminate ice. Inspectors also noted that a handwashing soap dispenser was installed above the drainboard of a three-compartment sink, creating a possible contamination issue for items placed there.

Other findings included milk crates being used instead of proper shelving to keep food elevated in the walk-in meat cooler, stained ceiling tiles in the meat department and sales floor, and a slow-draining handwashing sink in the meat prep area. The sink was repaired and draining properly before the inspection ended.
