Nando's Food Poisoning

It's possible to get food poisoning from peri-peri grilled chicken. Diarrhea and nausea are the most commonly reported symptoms from Nando's food poisoning. A Salmonella diagnosis is the most common infection that is reported. Salmonella symptoms include bloody diarrhea, cramping, and fever.

and salads. Instructed above that city of chicago certified food manager has to be on site at all times food is being prepared and served. Priority foundation violation 7-38-012. Citation issued.

10. Adequate handwashing sinks properly supplied and accessible
- comments: observed exposed hand washing sink in front food preparation area not maintaining proper hot water temperature of at least 100f. Water temperature 83. 4f at this time of inspection. Instructed person in charge to repair and restore hot water to at temperature of 100f and maintained for proper hand washing. Facility has another sink with close proximity for employees to wash their hands. Priority violation 7-38-030(c). Citation issued. A 2-days notice was given to come into compliance.

16. Food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized
- comments: observed the low temperature dish machine not properly sanitizing at 0ppm of chlorine during the inspection. Machine was in use. Instructed person in charge said equipment must properly sanitize 50-100ppm of chlorine at all times. Unit tagged and held for inspection by the health department and may not be used. Priority violation 7-38-025 citation issued. Technician on site low temperature dish machine has been repaired and now is properly sanitizing 100pm.

51. Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices
- comments: observed leaking pipe underneath exposed hand washing sink in rear prep area. Must repair and maintain.

Sunday afternoon, had fino pita with corn and coleslaw as side. Started feeling bit funny 1 hour after eating. It completely got me around 10pm. I was vomiting, bad diarrhoea and I felt like something is stuck in my stomach. Still unwell, if will continue I will be calling doctors for advice.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting

stomach ache. Experienced diarrhoea and vomiting. Went to sleep and woke around 4am and had an urge to vomit and diarrhoea fallowed. Currently is 10.30 am no more vomiting or diarrhoea,but still cramping stomach. I have to report this issue, because maybe nandos had a batch of “bad chicken” or the person cooking it didn’t fallow the food hygiene standards.
