Private Selection Angus Roast Beef, I am currently waiting on my lab results to find out if I've been sickened by the recalled beef. I bought and consumed Angus Roast Beef from here on 3/22. I have been sick with vomiting, diarrhea, fever, chills, sweating, stomach cramps,... sore throat, muscle pain, weakness in my arms and legs, lightheadedness, and severe dehydration since 3/24. I also had some facial swelling and patches of dry skin on my hands but not sure if it's related.
I had to seek medical treatment twice in the last week to help alleviate my symptoms while the bacteria worked through my system. I've never been more sick in my life!
I'm finally feeling better today 3/30. Almost 6 days of severe illness! I filed a report with FSIS and my local department of health but have not heard back from anyone.
My PCP ordered a stool sample test for E. Coli, salmonella, norovirus, listeria, shigella, hep A, and also for parasites/ova. I should have my results by Friday 3/31.
We need to know what distributors and retailers processed and sold the beef. Why hasn't the list been published yet? | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Cramps, Dehydration, Weakness, Chills, Sweating, Lightheaded, Muscle Pain, Swelling, Sore Throat

Health authorities are investigating ten cases clinically suggestive of food botulism linked to the consumption of artisanal canned sardines in the Tchin Tchin Wine Bar in Bordeaux, France. Unfortunately, 1 person has died. The problem goes beyond just France and affects diners in Spain and Germany who... also ate at the same establishment.
In detail, the patients exhibited symptoms consistent with food botulism. The initial case, a woman in her thirties, experienced non-specific signs when she first arrived at the Bordeaux University Hospital. However, she later suffered respiratory paralysis at home without a chance to return to the hospital. Cases have been identified not only in France but also in Spain and Germany. It is believed these cases also trace back to the same Bordeaux source of contamination.
The matter came to light after substantial administrative action against Tchin Tchin Wine Bar. All of the restaurant's canned goods have been seized, revealing issues with control in the canned manufacturing process. An analysis of all seized goods is expected by the upcoming Friday. To date, the food symptoms blame the sardines, which were served as is, like tapas.
"Despite the prompt response, it is estimated that around ten additional cases are possible due to the quantity of potentially contaminated product served by the restaurant," stated Thierry Touzet, deputy director of the departmental population protection directorate. Information has been distributed to health professionals by the Ministry of Health to quickly identify new cases. Victims of botulism potentially face long-term effects, especially if they suffer infectious complications. However, a botulinum antitoxin is available that can help shorten hospitalization time.
In case you experienced Botulism symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain, report it now. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
I went there on August 23, 2023 around 4 pm. I got thier 2 for 1 special 1/2 BBQ Chicken dinners. Took 1 & 1/2 home couldn't eat a whole meal. It was ok. But not great. I also ordered the chicken bowl salad To take home... and have for lunch on Wednesday 8/23. On Wednesday, I went and had some for brunch. I hadn't had any breakfast. I had gotten up late. I proceeded to put a third of the lettuce, cucumbers and Chicken into a bowl. Put some of the honey mustard dressing they gave me on it. I ate about 1/2 of it. While I was eating it I thought it was tasting funny to me. So I did not eat anymore of it. I threw it away. Plus what was left in the refrigerator. Within an hour I started feeling Nauseous & Pains in my stomach. Then in a while I ended up with soft stools, then Diarrhea and then all liquid. From around 5:30 until 1:15 in the morning. I lived in the bathroom as soon as I would walk out the door I would have to turn around and go right on the toilet again. I became so exhausted. But yet I couldn't go to sleep. Cause I was constantly going into the bathroom. I have never been so sick in my life. I also had a lot of gas in my stomach I was burping a lot and it smelt like gassy lettuce & Chicken. Felt like I had to vomit but never did. I was not well for 2 days. Thursday I just stayed in bed all day and slept. I was to weak to do anything. Friday I started feeling alittle better. Ended up throwing away all the other food was afraid I would get sick on it also. I do not wish this sickness on anyone. It is horrible. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Gas, Burping, Other
