Gomez Shellfish, LLC is recalling shellstock oysters due to Norovirus-like illnesses linked to raw oyster consumption. The affected oysters were harvested from a small portion of Hammersley Inlet and distributed in Washington, Oregon, and California.AFFECTED PRODUCT

- Harvested by Gomez Shellfish, LLC
- Identified by harvester number WA-1724-SS.
- The recall dates are from March 22, 2026, to April 9, 2026.
- The quantity of oysters recalled has not been specified.
The issue was identified following reports of Norovirus-like illnesses. The recall was initiated by Washington on April 10, 2026. Washington State Department of Health is continuing to gather information and provide updates.
