We chose this place since it was my husband and my honeymoon from May 3rd thru May 10th 2019 and had the worst experience ever. We both got horribly sick and we had nausea, horrible sharp stomach pain and vomiting. We havent been the same since, our stomachs are so messed up.

I visited DR in 2013 and was also very ill, presumably from the food. We were there 4 days and fell ill the second day until a day after arriving home. We stayed in the Ambar portion of GBP Punta Cana.
