Got a burger from in n out on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at around 5:30 pm. My 22 month old son then started getting sick shortly after. We have confirmed that it is ecoli. He is on day 3 and is very very sick.

I ate a hamburger and 2 dog patties that my dogs wouldn't eat. The dog patties tasted a little bit sugary. I looked on Google to see what's in the dog patties and the said it's a plain beef burger patty with no seasonings. Why were the patties sugary?
