See More certified food manager on duty with the city of chicago food service certificate on-site while tcs foods (rice, chicken soups etc. ) were being prepared and served. The certified food manager with the city of chicago original food service certificate must be present at all times tcs foods prepared and served, priority foundation violation 7-38-012. Citation issued.

    - comments: noted employees drinking and preparing food in the kitchen prep area. Instructed management to provide a designated area for employees to drink, eat, and not at the prep areas.

    - comments: noted employee while wearing gloves - i used the wipe cloth to wipe the prep table in the kitchen - took dirty dishes to the dishwashing sink - filled to sanitizing bucket with water and sanitizing detergent, then back to the prep table to continue prepping, then finally removing gloves but not washing hands. Another employee -wipe the nose with gloves on -went to the walk-in cooler and proceeded to serve lettuce on a customer's plate, all without changing gloves or washing hands. Instructed management that gloves must be changed and hands washed when moving from one prep area to another area and when changing tasks during prepping. Priority violation #7-38-010. Citation issued.

    Only vegetarian entree on the menu was Impossible Burger.

    Came pre-dressed with an orange sauce (which had flakes of something in it so clearly not just ketchup + mustard). One hunk of clearly iceberg lettuce and one slice of tomato.

    They overcooked the burger, but that wouldn’t do it by itself. Probably fried it in the same pan (barely cleaned) as the beef burgers, and I’m allergic to beef. That would explain the beefy flavor (I’ve had impossible burger before and this was very very greasy, and clearly cooked on a flattop instead of a grill). Horrible headaches and stomach cramps.

My pain has not gone down and I have to self medicate with stomach pain medication and panadol for a massive migraine. I have had...     2. I had a two course beef burger set lunch for our wedding anniversary 💕. Its claims its good has dumbfounded me and I think those appraising it well have poor taste.
    I asked for medium doneness but it was so done that I'm done with the ill effects of stomach pain and food poisoning. The patties were incredibly tiny- half the size of TCCs already small patties. Cheese appeared nicely wrapped but tasted like a week's old spoilt cheese.
    Bun was average although caramelised onions were top notch. The salad was 3 days old rotten salad and I asked for a change and then it was fresh. Same for my wife's salad. See my salad pics the black bits and it tasted like rubbish. Fries were just average.
    3. Wife's fish and chips was good but nothing as good as bread Street kitchen.

Observed about 3 lbs of raw chicken at 50. 9f, about 2 lbs of raw beef at 49. 3f, about 1 lb of raw calamari at 49f and about 1 lbs of raw shrimp at 49. 6f. Instructed to discard and denature said tcs foods and always maintain all tcs foods at 41f or below at all times. All tcs food items discarded totaled about $311 per manager. Manager discarded and denatured said tcs foods during the inspection. Priority violation. Citation issued 7-38-005.
