Bought "fresh" Royal Amethyst oysters from Whole Foods this morning. Shucked the first half dozen and they were completely dry, withered and smelled dead. Threw the whole bunch in the trash. Don't live close enough to hassle with returning them.

Gluten-Free Sandwich Illness

On friday, September 7th, i bought a grilled sandwich at the deli (gluten free bread, roast turkey, monterey jack cheese, spinach and tomatoes). About 5 hours later, my symptoms started and were severe for 5 hours (every 20 minutes). I had fever for the next 2 days.
