January 6th, 2026:
Carrot Top Kitchens of Bridgeport is recalling five varieties of hummus due to undeclared sesame. The affected products were sold in Connecticut and New York, specifically at Rochambeau Farm Store in Bedford, NY, and various farmers markets in Connecticut.
AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
- Lemon Garlic Hummus
- Lime Ginger Hummus
- White Truffle Hummus
- Sundried Tomato and Caper Hummus
- Cherry Pepper Hummus
These products are packaged in 8oz (226g) plastic containers. The affected products can be identified through the labeled flavor displayed on the container.
The recall is classified as Class II and was initiated on January 6, 2026. The issue was discovered during a routine label review.
