Meals prepared and sold by Restaurant Eatz Encore in Montreal - recalled due to Allergens

The MAPAQ in collaboration with the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal and Restaurant Eatz Encore has issued a precautionary warning to individuals with an allergy to soy, wheat, mustard, fish, or sulphites to not consume products offered for sale until May 16, 2023, at Restaurant Eatz Encore located at 4824 Sherbrooke Street West, in Montreal. The operator is voluntarily recalling these products. It should be noted that no case of allergic reaction associated with the consumption of these foods has been reported to MAPAQ to date.The recalled products are:
-"Beef / Beef Bourguignon", Allergens: Wheat, sulphites, Format: Unitary, Units sold until May 16, 2023.
- Beef Sliders, Allergens: Mustard, Fish (anchovies), sulphites, Format: Unitary, Units sold until May 16, 2023.
- " Winter soup ", allergen: Soy, Format: 1L, Units sold until May 16, 2023.
- " Cabbage soup ", allergen: Soy, Format: 1L, Units sold until May 16, 2023.
- "Sweet Potato Pancake, allergen: Soy, Format: Variable, Units sold until May 16, 2023.
- "Chicken pie", allergen: Soy, Format: Variable, Units sold until May 16, 2023.
These products were offered for sale until May 16, 2023, and were packed in various types of packaging and sold in a chilled state. The label of the products included the words 'EATZ ENCORE'.
This warning applies only to people who suffer from an allergy to soy, wheat, mustard, fish or sulphites. Additionally, affected individuals who have any of these products in their possession are advised not to consume it. They must return it to the establishment where they bought it or throw it away.
