Bianco Inc. has issued a public health alert for its raw sirloin beef tip product due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, specifically sesame and wheat. The affected product was distributed to Roche Bros. Supermarkets in Massachusetts, USA.The product in question is:
- The "Bianco & Sons SWEET HEAT SIRLOIN BEEF TIPS"
- Packaged in 1-lb. vacuum-packed
- Packages with a "USE OR FREEZE BY: 10/01/2025" date.
- It bears the establishment number “EST. 4033” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The issue was identified by a retailer who noticed a labeling error, where the back label for "Garlic and Ginger Sirloin Beef Tips" was used incorrectly. The alert was initiated on September 10, 2025.
