Ready-To-Eat and Raw Sausage products recalled due to misbranding and undeclared allergen

UP Products, LLC, operating as Meyer Wholesale, is recalling approximately 400 pounds of sausage products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The products, which contain soy, were distributed to locations in Michigan and Wisconsin. The issue was identified during routine FSIS in-plant verification activities. FSIS personnel noted that soy, a known allergen, was being used as an ingredient but was not declared on the finished product label.The recalled items include:
- Ready-to-eat pork and beef Polish sausage and raw pork and beef potato sausage
- Produced between October 30, 2024, and January 7, 2025.
- The Polish sausage is packaged in 5" x 8" vacuum-sealed packages
- With lot codes 24304, 24318, 24326, 24346
- While the potato sausage is bulk packed in 12" x 24" clear bags with dates 1/6/25, and 1/7/25.
- All products bear the establishment number "EST. M1733" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
Consumers who are allergic to soy, are advised to not consume the product and to return it to where they purchased it.
