Inspectors found multiple food safety and maintenance violations during the inspection. Significant food safety violations included an infestation of about 35 or more live roaches in several areas, including the front service cooking counter, near sinks, around dish machine pipes, and in storage areas. A citation was issued for the pest violation. Inspectors also found that the high-temperature dish machine gauge was not showing the final rinse temperature, which was marked as a significant food safety violation.Other issues included a leaking handwashing sink pipe, a nonworking one-compartment sink in the front prep area, unlabeled food storage containers, scoops stored inside bulk food containers, and plastic utensils not stored with handles upright. Inspectors also noted worn cutting boards, rust on walk-in cooler shelving, grease and food debris buildup on equipment, floors, walls, shelves, carts, garbage cans, and other surfaces, as well as cracks and gaps in walls and counters, dusty ceiling tiles, a burned-out hood light, and dirty ventilation filters.
