Yesterday I went to Chile's and ordered one strawberry margarita and boneless chicken wings as usual. Several minutes after the wings I decided I was still a little hungry and ordered a small bowl of chili with beef. I received it quickly as well as a second because of miscommunication between servers. The first spoon of chili tasted usual but I noticed the texture of the meat was chewy and stale. I couldn't notice a problem since the food was fragrant, overpowered with a typical chili smell. I finished the small bowl and the second which was given to me by accident. When I got home I didn't eat anything else and went to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night and vomited. I was shivering even though the heater was blasting and I felt nauseous. I didn't get back to sleep again until the early morning. Around the afternoon I got up because I had work and felt ill. I threw up again and my vomit smelt like putrid chili. I then went to the bathroom and had diarrhea. I showered and took aspirin with water because my stomach was hurting. I drank a few cups of water because I felt thirsty but threw it up after several minutes; the water was tainted with chili scent and color. I ultimately called in sick to work and am still feeling stomach pain a night after going to Chile's. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
