Food Safety Report: Ground Beef Products recalled due to E. Coli Contamination.

CS Beef Packers, LLC, based in Kuna, Idaho, is recalling approximately 22,912 pounds of raw ground beef products due to potential contamination with E. coli O145. These products were distributed to foodservice locations in California, Idaho, and Oregon in the United States.AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
PRODUCT: "BEEF, COARSE GROUND, 73 L"
- Cardboard cases containing eight 10-lb. chubs
- with case code 18601
- "Use/Freeze By: 02/04/26"
- Time stamps between 07:03 and 08:32 are printed on two stickers placed on the outside of the case.
- The date and time stamps are also printed directly onto the clear packaging of the chub.
PRODUCT: "FIRE RIVER FARMS CLASSIC BEEF FINE GROUND 73L"
- Cardboard cases containing four 10-lb. chubs
- With case code 19583
- "Use/Freeze By: 02/04/26"
- Time stamps between 07:03 and 08:32 are printed on two stickers placed on the outside of the case.
- The date and time stamps are also printed directly onto the clear packaging of the chub.
PRODUCT: "FIRE RIVER FARMS CLASSIC BEEF FINE GROUND 81L"
- Cardboard cases containing four 10-lb. chubs
- With case code 19563
- "Use/Freeze By: 02/04/26"
- Time stamps between 07:03 and 08:32 are printed on two stickers placed on the outside of the case.
- The date and time stamps are also printed directly onto the clear packaging of the chub.
The issue was identified through FSIS testing at a downstream customer. The recall was announced on February 11, 2026.
