Food Safety Report - Hotel, Calella Catalunya

We were in hotel for a week with full board. After four days my son started vomiting, had bad stomach pain and cramps. He couldn't retain the liquids in the body so eventually ended up in hospital under drop. We lost two days of holidays and it took about a week for my son to get better. Also I had to pay for some hospital paperwork. Hotel took zero responsibility for what happened. I used to work in the kitchen so I know the food served there wasn't reheat to 63° as was served cold and chilled products weren't even in the fridge. The restaurant should be shut down due to not following food standards. I have never tried bacon for breakfast where my son was eating it daily so could be the bacon causing food poisoning or in general due to poor food handling. Also plates were often dirty and no signage on some food and some were mix up wrongly so massive allergens hazard. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps
