Impossible Burger Reaction - Impossible Burger, Ottawa Ontario

1 year ago reported by user-vtjct562

Impossible Burger, Ottawa, ON, Canada

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

I ate an Impossible burger patty a few months ago for the first time, and I had a terrible food poisoning: I was sick for the whole night, with diarrhea, stomach pain, vomiting and cramps. At that time I wasn't sure which product had caused this, but I didn't eat these patties for some time after that. Yesterday I bought Impossible ground beef, fried it with potatoes. As soon as I finished a half of my portion, I felt abdomen cramps. In around 10 minutes the pain increased, my stomach was upset, and I felt nausea. The symptoms weren't as intense as the previous time, but I spent a few hours incapacitated, worried that I might vomit at any moment, and the stomachache was really acute. I googled if anybody else experienced this, and I also studied the ingredients. I think soy leghemoglobin could be the culprit, although canada.ca says it is absolutely safe. I have been eating vegetarian for more than 10 years, and I have tried dozens of vegan products, including Beyond Meat, Yves and many others. I have never had this reaction to anything else, and they don't contain soy leghemoglobin. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Vomiting
