Report date: Feb 10, 202610. Adequate handwashing sinks properly supplied and accessible
- comments: observed hot water over 120f at the hand washing sink in the washroom. The water temperature cannot be regulated by the user and was 122f. Management instructed to maintain all hand washing sinks between 100-120f. Priority foundation violation 7-38-030(c). Citation issued.
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed a rodent infestation throughout the premises. Observed approx. 400 mouse droppings on the floor in the dish washing room, storage rooms, employee break area, dining room along the walls behind the seating booths, and behind the front service counter in the cabinets. Additional pest control service is needed to eliminate the pest activity throughout. Priority violation 7-38-020(a). Citation issued.
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed a 1/2" gaps at the revolving entrance door. Management instructed to repair the outdoor openings so that all doors are rodent/insect proofed.
49. Non-food/food contact surfaces clean
- comments: clean the microwave ovens and interior of the 2-door ice cream freezer in the employee break room/storage area. Clean cabinets, can opener and shelving through-out.
51. Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices
- comments: repair the leak from the hot water tank and from the left compartment sink stopper at the 3-compartment sink.
54. Garbage & refuse properly disposed; facilities maintained
- comments: observed the outside garbage area not maintained with garbage piling up over the lid of the dumpster so that the lid cannot be closed and excessive garbage piled up around the garbage dumpster. Management instructed to maintain adequate garbage pickup so that the garbage doesn't pile up over the dumpster lid. Priority foundation violation 7-38-020(b). Citation issued.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed peeling paint on the ceiling of the dishwashing room. Management instructed to scrape and repaint the affected area of the ceiling.
