5. Procedures for responding to vomiting and diarrheal events
- comments: found no procedure/plan for responding to vomiting and diarrheal events. Instructed to provide and maintain required procedure/plan and appropriate supplies or kit. (necessary items at a minimum: gloves, face masks, disposable mops and appropriate sanitizer/spray that kills norovirus) priority foundation violation 7-38-005,no citation issued today.

16. Food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized
- comments: observed black slimy substances on interior water components of the ice maker in coffee preparation area,dripping into ice 'ice is used for human consumption'. Management was instructed to turn off machine, remove ice and have interior of ice machine cleaned and sanitized and maintain. Priority foundation violation 7-38-005,no citation issued today. Management immediately had unit serviced at this time. Corrected on site(cos).

36. Thermometers provided & accurate
- comments: noted no thermometers inside some refrigeration unit and hot holding units conspicuously posted to monitor the ambient temperature of equipment. Instructed to equip all refrigeration units and hot holding units with accurate and working thermometers.

38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: must remove insect control lamp located over food prep area in coffee vero area and over food storage in deli back room.

47. Food & non-food contact surfaces cleanable, properly designed, constructed & used
- comments: observed a torn door gasket inside of the 2 door prep cooler at sushi prep area. Management instructed to replace the torn door gasket.

- comments: instructed to detail clean storage shelves with mold like build-up debris at rear meat dept walk-in-cooler and to maintain.

- comments: observed dusty ceiling ventilation covers in bakery dept areas. Instructed to detail clean remove dusts from ceiling ventilation covers throughout the food prep areas and to maintain.
